My first day of parenting has been pretty successful. Having a baby to carry around school is not too bad, although it is much easier without it. Leaving my house this morning, my dad stared at me in confusion, but quickly figured out what was going on. I haven't gotten any funny looks from many strangers (other than a few confused freshmen) because I have not been outside of school yet today. I was not very surprised by their confusion because they are not used to seeing flour babies due to them not being here in the previous years. If we had to do this project again, I would probably purchase a more suitable carrying device- I have a basket but it will tilt over if I hold it properly. I was not very surprised by the outcome of the baby costs projects because my dad had just recently had a baby and I was already aware of the large amount of money that is needed to raise a child.
